On National Route 9 and after crossing the Quebrada de Humahuaca begin Puna region, here we will appreciate multiple geologic formations before We arrive the town of La Quiaca (located on the border with Bolivia). Here we can do a shopping tour at Villazón (Bolivia). At noon We will lunch in the city of Quiaca, in the afternoon We visit the town of Yavi, a small valley that holds a lot of history in each of its buildings. In the evening We will come back to San Salvador de Jujuy.

We leave very early to reach the nice village of Purmamarca, here We will know the famous Hill of seven colours(cerro de los siete colores), named like that do to the variety of tones that shows this mountain, from here and after travellling a very winding road (knows as Cuesta de Lipan), We will find the Salt Ponds, a sea of salt that amaze every person. Here can have lunch and then return to San Salvador de Jujuy.

On this tour we visit the Ecological Reserve of Zapla's foothills, the park's mission is to preserve and protect the flora and fauna in their natural conditions. Here surely We will practice some alternative tourism activity such as horseback riding , hiking, zip lines, rappel, mountain bike, you can also access the mining tourism activities by visiting some of the former mine shafts. This venue has a restaurant where We will have lunch, then in the afternoon We will return to San Salvador de Jujuy.
