Created on June 24, 1979. This park has a total area of 760,320 hectares and it is the largest in northwestern Argentina. Its main objectives are the protection of the Yungas and the safeguard of an important watershed, which supplies water to agricultural areas and nearby towns. |

It covers an area of 15,000 hectares and it was created for the protection of the lake and the aquatic birds, consisting of unique species in the Puna's environment. It is included in the list of Wetlands of International Importance. |

Created on October 15, 1952, this reserve is located about 30 km from the city of San Salvador deJujuy. This park has an area of 4,300 hectares of mountane woodland and foggy grasslands. The height variations within the park range from 1,500 to 5,000 m. |
